FYI: A new study of female pornstars today versus 30 years ago, reveals that back then there were about 10% self-identified bi-lez; today, there are about 68% self-identified bi-lez, many in relationships with other women. Unanswered: how many lez-porn-only stars are bi/lez? I'd guess, oh, about 90%.
Don't kid yourself into thinking 1) most lez porn is fake, 2) the actresses are "gay-for-pay." Most of them said the opposite: they have real orgasms routinely, and many VOLUNTEER the info they got into porn for money, of course, and also to 'do' the other ladies!
And, anyone can see the HUGH difference between the quality now versus then. Porn was made almost exclusively for men who snuck in and out of adult book stores and theaters. Women wouldn't go near those places.
Today, porn is literally everywhere, private, and if desired, free. The result was something no one could've envisioned. Women watch in huge numbers and, son of a gun, watch lez porn, and gay (male) porn, and avoid straight! Once the MEN who ran the "industry" woke up to the vast potential, they upgraded, but slowly. Another difference was from the entrance of WOMEN entering the field as directors, producers, etc., to make money and get real. The result has been a quantum leap forward, as anyone can see. Oh, trash is unfortunately still with us, but fading fast.
Another, less definable, impact has been the sex habits of many women. The newest generation is 16% "queer," most of the rather surprising increase being in the "bisexuality" of today's women. And the relevant number may be much higher, once you factor out about 40% of the demographic pie taken up by the righties.
Clearly, women are catching on to what they've been missing.
